The Huon River is a perennial river located in the South West and south-east regions of Tasmania. At 174 kilometres in length, the Huon River is the fifth-longest in the State, with its course flowing east through the fertile Huon Valley and emptying into the D'Entrecasteaux Channel before flowing into the Tasman Sea.

The Gordon River Collection

The Gordon River rises below Mount Hobhouse in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park draining the eastern slopes of the King William Range. The river flows generally south and to the west of the Gordon Range before flowing west through the Gordon Gap and spilling into Lake Gordon.

The river then continues west, passing through the Gordon Splits, a series of gorges then the river flows north by west and then due north and finally due west as it reaches its mouth and empties into Macquarie Harbour at Wrights Bay.

The Derwent is a river in Tasmania. The river rises in the state's Central Highlands and descends more than 700 metres over 200 kilometres flowing through Hobart, the state's capital city, before emptying into Storm Bay and flowing into the Tasman Sea

The Derwent collection are made from 5 iconic Tasmanian timbers:  Blackwood (pale brown to bark brown), Celery Top (creamy white to pale yellow), Myrtle (rich red brown), Sassafras (olive green with black highlight), and Tasmanian Oak (straw to reddish brown).

The Pieman River Collection

Formed by the confluence of the Mackintosh River and Murchison River the Pieman River rises in what is now known as Lake Rosebury, an artificial lake formed by the Bastyan Dam. The river flows generally west and northwest and then west again, joined by 21 tributaries before emptying into Hardwicke Bay and reaching its mouth in the Southern Ocean. The river descends 191 metres over its 100-kilometre course.

The Pieman collection are made from two iconic Tasmanian timbers: Blackwood (light to golden to dark brown) and Tasmanian Oak (straw to reddish brown).

The Franklin River Collection

The Franklin River is a major perennial river located in the Central Highlands and western regions of Tasmania. The river is located in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park at the mid northern area of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Its source is situated at the western edge of the Central Highlands and it flows west towards the West Coast.
